The city's authorities in Zaporizhzhia have made iodine pills available to the locals as a safety measure against a radiation leak, but those pills are not recommended for people over 40. Also one Ukrainian news report said there's a deficit of those pills in the city.

Robert Mardini, the director-general of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), has shared his views on this with CGTN.
