Canadian police closed a massive manhunt on September 7, 2022, after arresting a second suspect in the mass stabbings that killed 10 people in the Saskatchewan province. But Myles Sanderson died hours later, after complaining of “medical distress” while in police custody, said Rhonda Blackmore, Assistant Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Saskatchewan. Sanderson and his older brother Damien are suspected of carrying out the September 3 knife attacks that also left over a dozen injured. Three of the victims remain in critical condition.
