Melting ice in Greenland will inevitably lead to a major rise in the world's sea levels, a new study has warned.

According to researchers, the amount of global warming which has already occurred will cause a minimum sea-level rise of 27cm from Greenland's ice alone - regardless of any future action on climate change.
