Rail strikes: Sadiq Khan accuses the government of "almost deliberately provoking industrial action"
Sky, 19 Aug 2022
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has accused the government of "almost deliberately provoking industrial action in London" as he appealed to trade unions to work with him to lobby for a "deal without draconian conditions".
He said strikes are a "sign of failure" but it is "important to understand and have empathy with why transport workers are frustrated and worried".
