Access to abortion: Malta lacks 'politicians with enough spine to grasp this problem and face it'

Joining FRANCE 24 on International Safe Abortion Day is Dr. Isabel Stabile, Gynaecologist at St James Hospital and Director of the International School for Foundation Studies and Medical Foundation Programme at the University of Malta. In the European Union, abortion is legal in every country except Malta. Dr. Stabile offers us a glimpse of the current situation in this tiny island country in the Mediterranean and explains why it's so important for women to have access to abortion.
