Chengshantou is located in Rongcheng, Weihai City of east China's Shandong Province, and is named after the easternmost section of the Chengshan Mountains. Surrounded by the sea on three sides and facing South Korea across the sea, it is the easternmost point of China's coastline, where the sun rises at the earliest hour on the Jiaodong Peninsula.
