Gan Yu, who once held his position at a #hydropower station during the #earthquake in southwest China's #Sichuan Province, was rescued in #Shimian County in the province's Ya'an City on Monday morning after being out of contact for 17 days. Gan was transported to the province's #Luding County by a rescue #helicopter in the afternoon. At present, a full medical examination has shown that his vital signs are stable.
