Macron praises ‘heroism’ of Ukrainians in visit to war-devastated Irpin • FRANCE 24 English

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday (June 16) that massacres and war crimes had been committed in the Ukrainian town of Irpin, which he and other European leaders visited before meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. "The heroism of the army must be saluted, as well as the Ukrainian people," Macron told reporters.
