Prince Harry will deliver the keynote address at the United Nations (UN) plenary session marking Nelson Mandela Day on Monday.

South Africa's U.N. mission has said his remarks will centre on "the memories and legacy of Mandela and what has been learned from his struggle and his life that can help us face the new challenges in the world today."

Harry will be accompanied by his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.

The UN General Assembly established Nelson Mandela Day on July 18 — Mandela's birthday — as an international day to honour the former South African leader and to celebrate his life by participating in community service.
