Brazilian police took a suspect in the killing of indigenous expert Bruno Pereira and British journalist Dom Phillips to visit the scene of the murders.

Amarildo da Costa Oliveira, a fisherman who police say confessed to the crime, led the police through the events that resulted in the murder and disposal of the bodies.

The visit took place on Wednesday, June 15, in the Itacoai river, a jungle area near the community of Atalaia Do Norte, according to a video broadcast by local television station TV Globo.
