The death penalty trial of Florida school gunman Nikolas Cruz continues. Cruz pleaded guilty last October to 17 counts of murder and 17 counts of attempted murder in the 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, and could face either the death penalty or life in prison.
