Representatives from multiple parties are striving to jointly ensure safe grain shipments from Ukraine at a newly established Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul, a UN coordinator said. Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar told reporters that Türkiye inaugurated the center on July 27 to monitor the Ukrainian grain shipment process, consisting of five representatives each from his country Russia, Ukraine and the United Nations.
